Republicans Increasing Pressure on Supreme Court to Reverse Roe v. Wade

The newly elected Republican attorney general of Virginia is urging the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Jason Miyares said Virginia will be joining 19 Republican attorneys general and a dozen governors across the country in calling for state-level control of abortion laws.

SCOTUS Could Rule This Summer

Last month, Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley claimed that Roe v. Wade is the greatest injustice of our time, and that the Supreme Court has a chance to right it.

In an interview with Breitbart, Hawley stated that Roe v. Wade is “very much in play” following the first day of oral arguments.

A Mississippi law that would prohibit almost all abortions after 15 weeks is presently being reviewed by the Supreme Court.

Justices Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts could cast the deciding votes in the case.
