Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have had a tense relationship for months.

Now, former Bill Clinton strategist Dick Morris claimed on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show that Biden’s advisors are leaking stories disparaging Harris because they are worried she may invoke the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.

Rumors Abound

“The rumor I keep hearing from sources close to the White House is that Biden is getting worse. That the dementia is really becoming noticeable and harder to control and harder to camouflage. I believe there may be a move coming to invoke the 25th Amendment against Biden and replace him with Harris,” Morris reasoned.

But he says, “Biden’s people are pushing back against it by shooting at Harris and saying that she’s not really ready to be president.”

Harris is Not Ready for the Big Time

The rumors may have fed conspiracy theories suggesting that Biden would nominate Harris to fill Justice Stephen Breyer’s spot on the U.S. Supreme Court, opening the vice presidency to someone more prepared or even someone checking different demographic boxes.

A strategy of attacking Harris could prove useful or could backfire spectacularly.
