FBI Agents ‘Conducting Court-Authorized’ Activity at Democrat Rep. Cuellar’s House

On Wednesday, FBI agents conducted formal law enforcement operations outside the house of Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar.

“The FBI was conducting court-ordered law enforcement action in the area of Windridge Drive and Estate Drive in Laredo. The FBI is unable to speak further due to an ongoing investigation,” Rosanne Hughes, a spokeswoman for the FBI, confirmed.

Cuellar’s Response

On Wednesday night, Cuellar’s office issued a statement, saying, “Congressman Cuellar has said that he will assist completely with any inquiry. He is dedicated to upholding the rule of law and fairness.”

It was unclear if anyone was in the home at the time and it is also not known what specifically the agency was investigating.
