A symbol of classic beauty and what could be referred to as “effortless elegance,” she is our First Lady of our 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. She is First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) Melania Trump. April 26th marks her 49th year living and she is definitely living her best life. Melania Trump is creating positive change in the world today. She is always impeccably dressed with sophistication and modern flair, distinguishing beauty and values set above the fray. She is the mother of a now teenage son, thirteen year old Barron. He just had a birthday this past March 2019. Happy Belated Birthday Barron!

A book I was given by my older sister when I was younger, called “How To Be A Lady” , makes me think of our First Lady Melania Trump. She is the contemporary woman at her finest. By watching her you could take a lesson in common courtesy and etiquette. She is the ultimate mindful role model: Her campaign Be Best, which focuses on asking people to help in the promotion of encouragement, kindness, compassion and respect in our children, proves it.

This is what BE BEST encourages.

“Younger generations will be equipped to deal with the challenges they face today. They will be able to learn the importance of positive social, emotional and physical well-being, healthy living and responsible habits.” Melania Trump says. Her ultimate goal as FLOTUS is helping children. She asks “for the support of all people’s commitment to also Be Best on their behalf. We all can make a real difference in the lives of children.” This is a lifetime commitment for the sake of our future.

The Pillars of Be Best

#BeBest focuses on three pillars: well being, social media, and opioid abuse. Melania Trump believes that by promoting values such as healthy living, encouragement, kindness, and respect, parents, teachers, and other adults can help prepare children for their futures. With those values as a solid foundation, children will be able to better deal with the evils of the opioid crisis and avoid negative social media interaction. Learning how to navigate the waters and developing healthy ways of how to handle peer pressure are crucial during this delicate time in their lives. #BeBest gives children a compass.

When children learn positive online behaviors early on, social media can be used in productive ways and can effect positive change. Trump believes it is our responsibility as adults to educate and reinforce. We should remind them that when they are using their voice, whether verbally or online, to Be Best. When a parent acknowledges their children and reinstates positive feedback to their child, this builds self-esteem and self-love. Two important factors which can help all people realize that in loving oneself is when we are fully able to love others in a real and present way – not surface or fake.

Being the Greatest Version of Yourself

Magis is a Latin word that means “more” or “greater.” It is related to ad majorem Dei gloriam, a Latin phrase meaning “for the greater glory of God,” the motto of the Society of Jesus. Magis refers to the philosophy of doing more for Christ, and therefore doing more for others. It is an expression of an aspiration and inspiration. It relates to forming the ideal society centered on Jesus Christ.

This is a trait my grandfather taught my mother and my mother has passed on to me, my six sisters and now nieces and nephews. Magis is being the greatest version of yourself. This reminds me of #BeBest. This knowledge has helped me realize as a young parent to teach my son to always help others when they ask. Asking someone for help is hard to do and it takes a lot of courage. When someone asks for help, stop what you are doing and help them.

Don’t “try” to fit it into your schedule, just make it happen. We need more humans on this planet that stand up for others and those without a voice. Children that choose their words wisely and speak with respect and compassion is what we need. This creates conscious adults ready to put out positive energy in their communities and in the lives of others and themselves. This is what #BeBest encourages.

Establishing #BeBest FLOTUS

With her #BeBest campaign underway, FLOTUS is finding her voice as First Lady and most definitely has established her high fashion style. There are many favorites, but one of my personal favorite looks of FLOTUS is when she was in Egypt visiting the Sphinx of Giza. The energy of feminine empowerment was so visible.

During the 2016 election campaign when Donald J. Trump was making the campaign rounds and was in Cleveland Ohio, Governor Chris Christie was giving a speech for him prior to him speaking on stage. The camera catches everything, and caught Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue mysteriously watching from the stands. We did see you Wintour. So why so mysterious?

Snubbing Melania

Seems like Wintour is not being true to her magazine and showcasing Melania the way the country wants to see her showcased. Why all of the glamorous fashion magazines for FLOTUS Obama and not FLOTUS Melania? Rather than being non-partisan for a fashion magazine, the world sees your incredibly political bias running around as pawns for the DNC and mainstream media. Conservatives still might buy your magazines for the pretty dresses and fashion tips, but we see through your editorials and will make the proper purchase at the polls.

With hopes of #KAG2020 reining for the win, there will be more years to come with Melania Trump being her best and most fashionable, compassionate self. She will be giving us timeless memories for history through her graceful actions and Lady-like gorgeous style. Happy Birthday First Lady of the United States, just so you know you don’t look a day over 30!
