Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, and Dr. Anthony Fauci have a long-running dispute that shows no signs of ending anytime soon.

Fauci faced the Senate on Tuesday to discuss the government’s response to the epidemic and the two went toe-to-toe once again.

“Do you really believe it’s appropriate for you, Dr. Fauci, to use your $420,000 salary to attack scientists who disagree with you?” he said.

Fauci fired back, ““In usual fashion, Senator, you are distorting everything about me.”
