Carlson Slams Ted Cruz For Calling January 6 a “Terrorist Attack”

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz was chastised by Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson for calling the storm at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 a “violent terrorist attack.”

“Everyone who is conservative appreciates Ted Cruz. He is smart. Maybe the most articulate person in Congress. He doesn’t use a single word by accident. He is a lawyer. He described January 6th as a violent terrorist attack. It was not. It was not an insurrection. Was it a riot? Yes. Why are you telling us it was, Ted Cruz?” Carlson demanded.

Will Voters Remember This?

Conservative Twitter has not reacted kindly to the Senator’s statement, with some pundits claiming Cruz just dug his own political grave.
