Democrat Mayors Allow Murder and Looting
There is an obvious pattern and correlation between crimes rates in US cities and the governance of those cities where they occur. Seventeen of twenty US cities with the highest crime rate have Democrat mayors. Across the 20 cities, murders are up an average of 37% compared to last year. Murders in Chicago are up 50%. In Philadelphia and New York, murders are up by about 30%. The Los Angeles murder rate has increased by nearly 18%. And Baltimore has already had 200 murders. Aggravated assault is way up in most large cities, and of course, rioting and looting are up nearly 100% compared to 2019.
According to mainstream media reports, overall crime is down, although murders are up. It seems impossible, however, that overall crime is down, since hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of merchandise has been looted. In a single shop in New York’s SoHo neighborhood alone, it is estimated that looters made off with $1.5 million in clothing. In Milwaukee, looters stole $700,000 worth of merchandise from a single shop called Trend Benderz. One shouldn’t forget all the other shops in New York and Chicago or the Walmart stores that were picked clean in Tampa, Fayetteville, and other smaller cities. If these cities are claiming that theft is not up, it is only because they are not reporting it.
This raises another poignant question: Why are the Democrats and mainstream media suppressing the real numbers? Violence in Democrat controlled cities is skyrocketing as Democrat mayors and governors order police to stand down. So far, at least 12 US cities have moved to defund their police departments. The Democrat-led cities that have cut their police budgets are as follows: Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Oakland, Philadelphia, Norman, OK., Salt Lake City, and Hartford.
The Democrat-run cities with some of the worst rioting, Portland, Seattle, and Chicago, have refused to permit the governor to send in the national guard. They have also refused the help of federal law enforcement agents when assistance was offered by President Trump. And the situation is only getting worse. In recent days, Chicago looting and rioting intensified as Mayor Lori Lightfoot refused federal law enforcement help.
President Trump, of course is opposed to defunding the police. As noted by Forbes, he emphatically stated, “Sleepy Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats want to defund the police. I want great and well-paid law enforcement! I want law and order!” It would be interesting to know if the 30,000 people who owned homes in the so-called Seattle Autonomous Zone or the landlords and shop owners across America who lost their livelihoods also want to defund the police, or if they would prefer an end to the riots. Somehow, this is a story that mainstream media refuses to address. There do not seem to be interviews with SoHo shop owners or average families who are hiding in their homes in Portland to see if they wish the police would go away.
Who is Antifa?
Antifa, a contraction for “anti-fascist”, is a far-left militant network, fighting what they dub as fascism, which is merely the established world order of capitalism and democracy; their ideology, a mix of anarchism and communism. A symbol frequently used by Antifa is a cross between the red flag of the 1917 Russian Revolution and the black flag of 19th century anarchists. Andy Ngo, an independent journalist from Portland who is one of the leading experts on Antifa, called them a “violent insurrectionary group”, urging officials to take action.
Antifa and other far-left extremist groups are thought to have engaged in organized riots in multiple cities, transporting rioters in from other states. The rioting and looting is well-coordinated and include teams of scouts equipped with communications gear and vans filled with rocks, bats, fireworks, and flammable liquids. As described by John Miller, the Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism at the New York City Police Department, they are “a small, fringe network of extremists (that) organized violence in New York City.” This includes both the left-wing and anarchists that arranged for bail money for those jailed and recruited medics in advance of rioting. As the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force reported, these groups organized and directed the property damage, confining it to wealthier areas and high-end stores run by larger corporations.
Many conservatives have questioned why Democrat mayors have not taken a stand against Antifa and why Democrat lawmakers have remained silent in response to an obvious threat. During the Antifa hearings in Congress led by Sen. Ted Cruz, rather than decry the actions of Antifa, Democrats blamed President Trump saying, “[Riots and violence are] caused to a great extent by the president and his enablers who are calling peaceful protesters anarchists and terrorists, and sending paramilitary forces into American cities”. Senator Cruz concluded, “Not a single Democrat senator condemned Antifa. Not a one of them condemned Antifa’s violence and terrorism.”
Currently, a leftist group is planning a 50-day siege on the White House from September 17 through the elections. They tweeted about it and even have their own recruitment webpage. Adbusters, which describes itself as “a global network of artists, activists, writers, students, educators…who want to advance the new social activist movement”, published Tactical Briefing #1, their plan to target the White House. Apart from appearing on the Adbuster’s website, the story has been widely reported in conservative media, but somehow, mainstream media has not mentioned it.
The Communist China Connection
Black Lives Matter (BLM) founder Patrisse Cullors said “We are trained Marxists”. She also claimed, “There are definitely socialists within the movement, as there have been in every single social movement in 20th century America.” The Antifa, BLM and Democrat agendas all seem to point to socialism. Joe Biden is known for having said that China is no threat and for having helped China get into the World Trade Organization (WTO). He was instrumental in the paving the way when the US granted China “Most Favored” trading nation status. Now, the Democrat refusal to quell riots has fed directly into the propaganda of the Communist Party of China.
Inside China, as well as on Twitter and other international social media, China is exploiting images of the violence on US streets, using it to justify its own crackdown on peaceful, pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. According to Vice.com, China’s state-run newspaper, the Global Times, said of the riots, “Watch out! Beautiful sight in HK [Hong Kong] is spreading across the U.S…Now, the ‘beautiful sight’ is extending from Hong Kong to over a dozen U.S. states.” Another China state media, People’s Daily, ran a picture of the Statue of Liberty engulfed in flames, with the text ‘Under the guise of human rights.’”
In the early days of the protests, doctored photos were tweeted out by Chinese government accounts with images of American protesters, pleading for help from China, often with the phrase “China, I can’t breathe.” The Chinese propaganda encourages American communists and socialists, who want to see the US lose its dominant position in the world. It has been documented that groups such as Communists in the USA have participated in the riots.
As reported by CNBC, “Biden’s entire career has been a gift to the Chinese Communist Party”, Trump said, adding that “it’s been devastating for the American worker.” White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien reported that China-based hackers have already been breaking into the US electoral infrastructure. While he did not actually accuse China of attempting to alter the outcome of the election, he did say “They’d like to see the President lose.” Said another way, China would prefer for Joe Biden to win.
Biden and Socialism
Bob Avakian, founder and leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA has expressed his official support of Joe Biden. Angela Davis, the Marxist intellectual and activist said that she supported Joe Biden for president because she felt he could “‘be most effectively pressured’ by the left.” The New York Times opinion section ran the headline “Socialists Don’t Want Joe Biden to Lose.” Vice President Pence recently warned against the threat of socialism. “Our road leads to greater freedom and opportunity. Their road leads to socialism and decline…But Joe Biden would set America on a path of socialism and decline.”
As noted in The Hill, The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a plan called the Great Reset, “socialistic policies (that call) for wealth taxes, additional regulations, and massive Green New Deal-like government programs.” The WEF made it clear the entire world must follow this new socialist program stating, “Every country, from the United States to China, must participate”. The plan calls for a reshaping of all aspects of society, from education, to social contracts, and to work. Prince Charles told the WEF that they must seize on the wake of the Coronavirus as “Its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change.”
Although Biden has not actually stated his support for the Great Reset, a number of Democrats, including Al Gore and John Kerry, have. Meanwhile, many of those who are helping him formulate his platform and programs are Great Reset supporters. Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan seems very similar to the values and ideals of the Great Reset. In the end, the Great Reset represents an accelerated undoing of American values and a complete dismantling of our culture. It is ironic that the destruction which the Democrats are pushing for today is exactly what John F. Kennedy warned the nation about nearly sixty years ago when he said we should be “unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world”.
