CNN Bias, Misconduct Exposed
James O’Keefe and his investigative journalism organization, Project Veritas, announced that they would share with the world on Monday (October 14) information to expose the liberal bias of CNN. A CNN insider will blow the whistle and release dozens of recordings revealing a political agenda, and misconduct within the CNN organization that they kept hidden from the public.
At the Values Voter Summit in Washington DC on Saturday, with ex-Pinterest engineer and whistleblower Eric Cochran, O’Keefe announced that he would be looking into the unsettling media bias of CNN. Cochran tells the audience that, “there’s life, after blowing the whistle, after breaking free from the formula of life, that you can do the right thing.” He encouraged everyone to act, that if anyone knew an insider that has a story of bias or misconduct within their organization, that they should step forward, and share it through Project Veritas.
Insiders are Important
O’Keefe revealed that this would be the biggest story of the year for Project Veritas, uncovering media bias from a series of tapes the insider secretly recorded at work of officials at the highest levels of CNN. A big aspect of the story is the heroism of the whistleblower, as he is up against the “most trusted name in news.” Project Veritas has relied on insiders for some of the most important information, including a Facebook subcontractor, two Google employees, and an engineer from Pinterest. They’ve all lost their jobs and paid the price, so Project Veritas has their back and helps them out.
The CNN insider met O’Keefe by chance and knew what he was supposed to do. From the Project Veritas website, the insider said, “I started at CNN with a dream to work in media, but my dream had become a nightmare.”
On Sunday, a day before the story was being released, O’Keefe and Project Veritas exposed that Twitter was already doing everything they could to stop or slow down the information from spreading on platform. Saturday night #ExposeCNN was trending number one. O’Keefe pointed out that if you went to Twitter and typed in, “Expose,” it brought up a whole assortment of way less popular phrases that popped up before #ExposeCNN, and said after he laughed that “they were already doing damage control.”
A thirty second video clip was shared Sunday night, showing a preview of what was to come on October 14th, at 12pm, when Project Veritas said they were releasing the report in its entirety. The clip shows the insider blacked out as a shadow, the voice of the person modified to sound unrecognizable. They explain that they decided to wear a hidden camera and record anyone and everyone he could while working at CNN. They wanted to expose the bias running rampant throughout the company.
“Not Going to Be Able to Stop it”
O’Keefe tweeted Saturday to CNN show Reliable sources host Brian Stelter that “it might be time to recall the worst things you’ve said to CNN staff in the hallways.” It went on to say, “Project Veritas has a reliable source who wore a hidden camera (actual emoji of a film camera). O’Keefe did not forget to @ the CNN host is his tweet. Stelter has not commented on anything related to the matter.
The confidence O’Keefe has in the insider and the information brought is solid. He is very assured that once the report hits the public, there is nothing they can do. On his video clip, O’Keefe says about the manual algorithmic adjusting of Twitter’s information, “I just want to say that this is hilarious..we have a video coming tomorrow and they’re already doing damage control. I mean, what are they going to do? What are they gonna do when this thing drops? I don’t even know if they’re going to be able to stop it.” He tells Twitter’s Jack Dorsey and engineers in San Fransisco that they’re “not going to be able to stop it.”
Footage of inside the studio plays in the short thirty second clip, creating a build up to what we’ve always suspected about the network, but could never prove: that CNN calls itself a neutral news media outlet but is not at all, and leans to the left, harder than it will admit. If CNN would do as MSNBC does and claim its liberal leaning, there would be no issue. But CNN continues to tow the line of being in the “middle.” The report comes out at noon on Monday and is expected to be the best story Project Veritas has done all year and a peak point of its existence: to expose corruption.
The CNN Insider
Part one of a series of videos exposing CNN’s bias and outright hatred for President Trump was released today with the help of CNN insider Cary Poarch. Poarch had landed his dream job at CNN, but his dreams were quickly dashed after he discovered just how serious the anti-Trump bias was at the cable giant. He considered quitting but felt he had a duty to “expose the bias running rampant” at the network, and instead decided to wear a hidden camera to document what he’d seen.
What he uncovered was shocking but partially expected because of the non-stop Trump attacks on the network. President of CNN Worldwide Jeff Zucker was recorded saying, “I want to stay with this, our top, top – our own reporters, our own political analysts, the top, top..we have. Okay, so make sure we’re all doing that. All these moves are moves towards impeachment.” Several of the employees on the video openly admitted the past relationship of Trump and Zucker and how Zucker hated Trump with a passion. That much is clear in his outlet’s rhetoric. Ratings are a high priority, but getting Zucker’s Trump-hating, Fox-hating message across was of greater importance. He said, “The fake conspiracy nonsense that Fox has spread for years is now deeply embedded in American society and at the highest levels of the Republican elected officials as we’e seen…and frankly that is beyond destructive for America…”
Zucker even told his people on a call that they should stop being so friendly with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who had been a frequent guest on CNN. “Yeah, so I just want to say on the Lindsey Graham front, I know that there’s a lot of people at CNN that are friendly with Lindsey Graham. It’s time to knock that off and it’s time to call him out.”
Project Veritas continues to expose the corruption in the bias media, especially because of the corporate insiders that put their careers on the line to help bring the truth to light.
