Biden Deploys Special Forces

Joe Biden has authorized the deployment of hundreds of special operations forces inside Somalia, a senior US defense official revealed on Monday.

Almost 700 Somali troops will be sent to neighboring nations or areas rather than returning home.

Biden’s Plan

In Somalia, the Biden administration’s plan begins with eliminating al-Shabab individuals suspected of assisting in the development of terror plots outside of the nation, then lowering the terror danger level.

Full operations in Somalia will not be restored.

Having no soldiers stationed in Somalia increased the risk to US forces as they went in and out.
