The internet is being flooded with testimonies by individuals who claim their moviegoing experiences were sabotaged when trying to watch the hit film Sound of Freedom.

While issues with theaters can take place, the amount of people going public with similar stories and videos showing theaters being cleared out is too much to ignore.

One man went on TikTok to detail how the theater he was in didn’t have its air conditioning system working and that there were only a handful of people at the showing despite being “sold out” online.

In another TikTok video, a woman who watched the film with her friends claimed her Pineville, North Carolina AMC Theater refunded their tickets because the AC was out at that theater too.

When the women asked if they could still view the show without AC, the staff allowed them to enter the theater.

Another woman said she went to a viewing of Sound of Freedom and that the AC was also turned off at her Regal Theater in Louisiana.

A woman filmed as her local theater was reportedly evacuated in the middle of the movie and everyone had their tickets refunded.

The next woman filmed as a movie theater employee refunded her family’s tickets to Sound Of Freedom because the AC went out, and told her it was because it’s so popular that the AC has to work harder to cool the filled room.

“Yeah, but we’ve been going to movies our whole life and this never happens,” she told the employee.

“Yeah, I know, it’s so weird,” he answered.

One Twitter user claimed their Regal Theater in Pennsylvania was “noticeably hot” and another person posted a video of a fire alarm going off in the middle of their showing.

“Another Regal theatre had fire alarm go off in #SoundOfFreedom theater only… everyone stayed and watched anyway. People aren’t stupid. They know what’s going on and they aren’t falling for it,” the Twitter user wrote.

Another video shows the moment an AMC theater was reportedly evacuated due to three loud booms while people tried watching the popular movie.

A man posted footage to Twitter showing his Harkins Theatres location paused the movie after it reportedly began skipping.

A Hartford, New York theater posted an advisory outside one of its theaters to let moviegoers know the AC in that room was also not working.

Heavyweight boxing champion David Niño Rodriguez wrote about his “horrendous” experience.

“My experience with Sound Of Freedom at the AMC theatre was horrendous. I have reasons to believe that theaters are making the viewing experience uncomfortable and underwhelming on purpose. In my own personal experience the volume of the movie was turned all the way down to nearly inaudible. I had to contact the theatre manager to adjust the film twice. Are you having a similar experience? Please comment below.”

In the comments of Rodriguez’s post, several people shared their horror stories.

To be fair, several Twitter users also posted about their POSITIVE experiences at both AMC and Regal Theaters.

Also, two co-founders of Angel Studios, the production company behind Sound Of Freedom, posted online about how AMC has been “an incredible partner” for the movie.

“Summer heat commonly will cause AC units to go out in theaters. Please be patient and kind to all those incredible employees who are making this film possible,” wrote Jordan Harmon.

Angel Studios co-founder Neal Harmon wrote, “I also want you to know that @AMCTheatres has been a leading partner for us in getting this to market and we couldn’t have done it without them. Stuff happens. Bulbs break, air conditioning stops working, and volume levels get set wrong, but these are exceptions in over 500 theaters with thousands of screens. Kindly ask them to adjust the volume, be patient with issues, and thank hard-working theater staff.”

The CEO of AMC also commented on the negative feedback, writing, “Really bizarre FUD floating around Twitter that we are suppressing attendance for Sound of Freedom. Yesterday we showed that movie 3,000 times at our 570 U.S. theatres and more than 100,000 people watched it @AMCTheatres. Misinformation on Twitter is astonishing. Bots? Haters?”

“Let’s put this ridiculous conspiracy theory to bed. Fri/Sat more than 250,000 people watched Sound of Freedom at AMC in the U.S. Angel Studios Head of Distribution: ‘No other theater chain in the world has shown more support for Sound of Freedom and Angel Studios than AMC.’”

Of course, as one Twitter user pointed out, globalist ESG-pushers Vanguard, BlackRock and Citigroup are among the top investors of AMC.
