We’ve been told time and time again that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the most popular candidates in history. In fact, they were labeled Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for 2020 — before either of them took office.
Given all of the endless praise from the media and the alleged popularity of these two, one could surmise that both of them would be greeted with throngs of revelers wherever they go. However, that was far from the case when Kamala recently returned to her home in California.
Kamala’s return home was a stark contrast to the reception former President Donald J. Trump received as he bid his supporters farewell on January 20, 2021.
Up until the very moment prior to boarding Air Force One one final time to head to his new residence in Florida, the people cheered him, commending him for a job well done. Furthermore, the revelers were already out in force to welcome him once he arrived in West Palm Beach.
Not only did Trump come home to a warm welcome in sunny Florida, support for him has continued to remain strong. Just this past President’s Day we watched as yet again crowds came out in force to show their support.
The irony was palpable as hundreds, if not thousands, came out in support of Donald Trump. At the same time, there was little to no recognition for Joe Biden in commemoration of President’s Day.
As we count the weeks and the executive orders being signed by the Biden administration, there is no doubt the support for President Trump is strong. Just look no further than the lack of supporters who show up for either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. Couple that with the nearly non-existent public appearances by either of the two and one has to wonder just what is going on. Regardless of your take on the Biden administration, one thing is for sure: there is no transparency whatsoever.
