President Trump Vs. The Globalists

President Donald Trump delivered his second address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. It is no secret that the President has a less than perfect relationship with the U.N. He walked in like a heavyweight boxer in his prime to a crowd of world leaders, some who appreciate his work and some who despise it.

He showed strength and passion for defending the United States and its interests. The United Nations has long stood for globalism and a “world first” approach, even chastising the United States when the Trump administration has taken steps to secure our “America first” policy. Though he did not call out the globalists by name, President Trump made it clear that he has one goal- promoting the United States strength and by doing so, make the world a safer place.

America Is Rising

President Trump made no qualms about promoting America. In all reality, this is one of the things that he does best – be the United States’ biggest fan. “America’s economy is booming like never before. Since my election, we have added $10 trillion in wealth. The stock market is at an all-time high — $10 trillion in wealth, and the stock market is at an all-time high. African-American, Hispanic-American, and Asian-American unemployment have achieved the lowest levels ever recorded,” stated the President.

He discussed the building of the border wall, the building up of our military, and the income-raising tax cuts. He continued, “In other words, the United States is stronger, safer, and a richer country than it was when I assumed office two years ago. We are standing up for America and the American people, and we are also standing up for the world.” It was obvious that President Trump was sending a message – America is on the rise. Get on board or get out of the way.

America Is Governed by Americans

The tone of President Trump was stern but welcoming to our allies. “America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism. Around the world,” Trump continued, “responsible nations must defend against threats to sovereignty not just from global governance, but also from other, new forms of coercion and domination. In America, we believe strongly in energy security for ourselves and for our allies.”

President Trump made it crystal clear that as the global leader, we would work from a position of power, not weakness. The old regimes of the past who looked to kowtow to the whims of the global elite are a distant memory. The President chided multiple world actors that have sought to rip off the United States in the past and gave them a stern warning that such provocations will not continue. America is going to push deals that are fair and do not hamstring U.S. jobs and U.S. workers.

America Will Help Those Who Respect Us

The days of America being the world’s bottomless piggy bank are over. President Trump detailed the plan to remove funding from nations that are not our friends. “Moving forward, we are only going to give foreign aid to those who respect us and, frankly, are our friends. And we expect other countries to pay their fair share for the cost of their defense,” said President Trump.

What a novel concept that the United States will not fund nations who are not looking out for our best interests or are actively opposing us. This creates a stark difference from the Obama administration that consistently funded nations and people groups who hate America and what we stand for. No more. President Trump is keeping his promise once again.

Is Biden the ultimate embarrassment to our country?

Promises Made – Promises Kept

Tuesday’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly was a heartening expression for every American. Finally, we have a President who is looking to keep the promises that he made when he was running for office. Too many Presidents and politicians, in general, have promised the world yet delivered very little.

President Trump is a different breed of President. He is not beholden to foreign dignitaries or globalist power structures. He is held to a higher standard. He fights for the American people. As he so fatefully stated when accepting the nomination for Republican candidate for President: “Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo!”

Promises made, promises kept.
