Authorities are searching for a man suspected of gunning down a convenience store worker during a robbery in Texas last week.
The shocking incident unfolded at around 6 a.m. on June 19 in Dallas.
A masked male entered a 7-Eleven and demanded the employee give him money from the register.
Nathaniel Ogbolu, 54, was shot multiple times before he could produce any cash, authorities say.
The suspect then fired at a witness but missed.
Surveillance footage from the moments following the shooting has been posted on social media by the Dallas Police Department in an effort to obtain more information about the suspect.
“People working hard, and it’s not right people trying to get easy money,” local resident Anselmo Camacho said in comments to Fox 4.
“Comes to work in the morning, doesn’t come home at night.”
An investigation is ongoing.
