A migrant from Somalia was arrested for stabbing another Somali man to death on a tram in Germany over the weekend, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 10 a.m. on Saturday morning in Dresden.

Authorities were notified that “someone is said to have been stabbed” aboard a line 7 tram at the Malterstrasse stop, Welt reports.

Police and emergency responders discovered a 40-year-old Somali male suffering from severe knife wounds at the scene.

Witnesses say a large pool of blood could be seen at the doorway of the train car.

The suspected killer, a 32-year-old Somali national who spoke little German, was apprehended nearby.

The victim later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities believe the men knew each other but are unclear about the motive for the fatal attack.

“What exactly happened must now be clarified by witness statements and the evaluation of the video surveillance in the tram,” Sächsische Zeitung reports.

Migrants from Somalia frequently commit heinous crimes in Europe, as Infowars has reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
