Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey is worried about Donald Trump returning to the presidency in 2024.

In a Sunday interview on MSNBC with former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki, Comey admitted he was concerned about Trump prosecuting him if reelected to the White House.

“Think about what four years of a retribution presidency might look like. He could order the investigation and prosecution of individuals who he sees as enemies,” Comey said.

“I’m sure I’m on the enemies list, because the president constitutionally does oversee the executive branch entirely, which includes the Department of Justice, prosecutors and investigators.”

Comey also lamented over the constitutional power Trump would once again be imbued with if reelected as a “rogue president.”

“Our Constitution really does give a rogue president, which is what this would be, tremendous power to destroy,” Comey said.

Comey, not one to make reasonable statements, made other ridiculous claims elsewhere in the interview, arguing Trump could be reelected from prison after special counsel Jack Smith charges him with unlawfully storing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

“Can you envision a scenario where Trump manages to win back the White House and justice is delayed?” Psaki asked.

Comey replied, “I could. I don’t — I don’t want to, but I could. I mean, it’s a crazy world that Donald Trump has dragged this country into, but he could be wearing an ankle brace while accepting the nomination at the Republican convention.”

Comey also hinted that Smith would indict Trump soon.

“I don’t know anything obviously. But I would predict your summer will be — don’t plan any long vacations as a journalist,” he sneered.

Recall Comey, knowing full well the Russia collusion story was a political hit job concocted by the Clinton campaign, appeared on multiple news outlets while FBI director to speculate that video tapes of Trump urinating on hookers in Moscow were real.

Comey was soon after fired by President Trump in 2017, which sparked the years-long Mueller witch hunt.

For years after, Comey kept claiming Trump “poses a near-existential threat to the rule of law.”

But the Durham Report found just the opposite, that Comey knew from the very beginning that there was no basis to launch the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Specifically, the Durham Report stated that Comey was present at that Aug. 3, 2016 meeting where then-President Barack Obama and his national security team were briefed by former CIA Director John Brennan on the Russia collusion hit job from the Hillary Clinton campaign to use the bogus “Steele Dossier” to distract from the scandal around her use of a private server as secretary of state.

Naturally, Comey downplayed the report by special counsel John Durham last month, claiming “there’s always going to be mistakes” made by the FBI during “complex investigations.”
