Dozens of illegal aliens wearing camouflage were recently caught hiding in a cave in Texas, authorities say.

The incident unfolded in a remote area of Culberson County near the border of Mexico.

Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez shared footage and photos from the bust on Thursday.

“TxDPS Air OPs located 36 illegal immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, & Colombia, wearing camouflage clothing concealed inside a cave in Culberson County, south of Van Horn in the Big Bend Sector,” Lt. Olivarez explained on social media.

“All were referred to USBP for processing.”

Migrants and smugglers are frequently caught wearing apparel designed to disguise themselves in the natural environment as they make their illegally into the United States.

Five illegals were recently intercepted on a ranch in Texas dressed in camouflage and ‘carpet shoes,’ which hide footprints from trackers.

Border Patrol agents apprehended 10 illegal aliens from Mexico wearing “head-to-toe camouflage” in Arizona’s Patagonia Mountains last week.

On March 17, five migrants in camo were caught in the Baboquivari Mountains in Arizona.
