From RT:
Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maksim Fomin), a military correspondent and blogger, was killed in the incident, according to emergency services.
Tatarsky joined the Donbass militias back in 2014 in the wake of the Maidan coup in Kiev. He has since become known in Russia as a blogger and a correspondent reporting on the situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Tatarsky has also authored several books.
According to Readovka news outlet, the man was hosting a live event for supporters of his work when an explosion ripped through the building, blowing the café’s glass front into the street.
Tatarsky had apparently been killed at the Street Bar café by an improvised explosive device disguised as a statuette that was presented to him as a gift by a young woman, whose identity is still unknown.
Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald suggested that the same Ukrainian group who killed Russian philosopher Aleksandr Dugin’s daughter Darya Dungina with a car bomb in Moscow last August.
“Gee, I wonder who carried out this terrorist attack on a cafe in St. Petersburg where a Russian journalist was killed as he held an event on the war in Ukraine, along with 12 others who were wounded. Wonder if it might be the same people who murdered Darya Dungina in her car?” Greenwald wrote.

Greenwald also lambasted the Western mainstream media for portraying the act of terrorism as a positive.
Oh, in case you’re feeling bad that this happened, here’s George Washington University Political Science Professor @Joyce_Karam offering the justification for this classic act of terrorism, just with a dozen collateral damages or so. We’re the Good Guys!https://t.co/HDk7r2NvcX

This comes as Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany dismissed calls for peace negotiations as “pure cynicism.”
This is just another stepping stone on the path to total nuclear war with Russia.
