WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Daily Signal reporters and staffers from The Heritage Foundation are on the ground for the 50th annual March for Life, and they’re sending in some of the best signs from the first march to take place since the Supreme Court overturned its infamous 1973 Roe v. Wade decision last June. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of the Heritage Foundation.)

Americans across the country traveled to the nation’s capital to register their protest of the killing of thousands of babies at the hands of the abortion industry. While the Supreme Court has invalidated the finding in Roe that the Constitution enshrines a right to abortion, opening up the issue to regulation in the 50 states, marchers demand that Congress act to limit or abolish the intentional killing of babies in the womb.

Last week, the House of Representatives passed a bill to save the lives of babies born in botched abortions, and only one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas, voted with Republicans for it.

All but three Democrats voted against a resolution condemning the attacks on at least 78 pro-life groups and 108 churches since the leak in early May of the draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Supreme Court decision overruling Roe.

Here are some of the best signs from Friday’s march.

The Abortion Industry Is Old News

(I would delete all of these captions as redundant of what readers can see in the signs themselves and the overlines, leaving just the photo credits. I would also flush-right all the photo credits.) SCOTUS IS THE GOAT

This “GOATED SCOTUS” sign presumably refers to the acronym G.O.A.T., “greatest of all time,” a reference to the Supreme Court of the U.S. (“SCOTUS”) overturning Roe.
