Over the weekend, parents in Virginia slammed former President Barack Obama for making “tone-deaf” remarks on complaints about school curricula and alleged sexual assaults that went unreported while campaigning for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.
On Saturday, Obama slammed McAuliffe’s Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin, for focusing his campaign on the divisive issue of education, describing it as “manufactured indignation.”
“We don’t have time to waste on these made-up culture wars, this manufactured anger,” she says.
