Ron DeSantis, the current governor of Florida, made a decision that he is going to run for reelection for governor and not for president.
In a conference with his supporters, Ron DeSantis said that it was an “easy decision” to make because he believes he has been successful in Florida.
He also talked about how there are “more important things to focus on” than running the country.
Furthermore, according to a report by Politico, a poll of likely Republican primary voters showed that DeSantis is leading with an approval rating of 73%.
