Joe Biden broke a promise not to declare victory until the presidential election is certified which he made to the nation at the first presidential election moderated by Chris Wallace. Joe Biden proclaimed himself the president-elect in a victory speech on Nov. 7, declaring a ‘clear victory’ even though he pledged less than two months ago that he would wait until the winner of the presidential election is certified and the votes counted. Instead, Biden, who calls himself President-Elect Biden proclaimed, “The people of this nation have spoken. They delivered us a clear victory. A convincing victory. A victory for ‘We The People’.”
Promises Made Promises Broken – Joe Biden Broke Promise Declares Himself President-Elect
It seems Biden has forgotten the campaign promise he made less than two months ago, at the first presidential debate when Chris Wallace asked him, “One final question. Will you urge your supporters to stay calm while the vote is counted, and will you pledge not to declare victory until the election is independently certified?”
“Yes,” Biden continued, “And here’s the deal. We’ll count the ballots. As you pointed out, some of these ballots in some states can’t even be opened until Election Day, and if there’s thousands of ballots, it’s going to take time to do it.”
He continued, “Once the winner is declared after all of the ballots are counted, all of the votes are counted, that will be the end of it. That will be the end of it. And if it’s me, in fact, fine. If it’s not me, I’ll support the outcome.”
Biden: ‘I just think it’s an embarrassment, quite frankly…it will not help the president’s legacy.’
Biden described President Trump’s rightful lawsuits and refusal to concede, “an embarrassment.” On November 10th when asked, “What do you say to the Americans that are anxious over the fact that President Trump has yet to concede and what that might mean for the country?”
This Is an Embarrassment – ‘The World Is Watching’ as Biden Breaks His Promise
Pompeo warned, “The world is watching,” as Joe Biden makes a mockery of the election process and laws when Biden broke his promise by prematurely calling himself the winner.
At a press conference on Tuesday, the Secretary of State explained that the Trump administration is following the process laid out in The Constitution, and underscored that “the world is watching what is taking place.”
Promises Made Promises Kept – Trump Adheres to The Election Process
Pompeo assured the nation that President Trump is following the election process. He said, “There is a process. The Constitution lays it out pretty clearly. The world should have every confidence. The world is watching what is taking place. We are going to count all the votes. When that process is complete there will be an elector selected. There’s a process.”
The World Should Have Every Confidence Should There Be a Transition
Pompeo also gave reassurance that if Joe Biden is declared president lawfully, the Trump administration is ready to ensure a smooth transition. “The world should have every confidence that the transition necessary to make sure that the State Department is functional today, successful today, and successful with a president who is in office on January 20th a minute after noon will also be successful.”
Biden Preemptively Asks the GSA for an Early Ascertainment
Instead of waiting for the General Services Administration, the GSA, to give its ascertainment after the winner is lawfully declared, Biden’s transition team has requested an ascertainment now so that Biden can access millions of dollars in federal money and formally begin his team’s transition process.
“In accordance with the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 (PTA), as amended, and consistent with precedent established by the Clinton Administration in 2000, the GSA Administrator ascertains the apparent successful candidate once a winner is clear based on the process laid out in the Constitution,” According to a statement it published on its website.
An election cannot be concluded while there are lawsuits pending. Despite multiple lawsuits rightfully filed by President Trump over constitutional laws being potentially broken along with voting irregularities, Dominion Voting Systems issues, a full hand recount in Georgia with more audits and recounts expected as well as rampant voter fraud being reported by whistleblowers nationwide, Biden broke his promise.
He did so by refusing to keep the campaign pledge he made to the citizens of the United States, to wait until the election is certified, by continuing to wrongly call himself, “President-Elect Biden” rather than waiting for the winner to be certified after all the ballots are counted.
