Joe Biden is considering asking Congress for a $100 BILLION “one-and-done” spending bill that would fund Ukraine’s war with Russia until at least after the 2024 election, according to reports.
“Some officials believe passing a single package, which could be as large as $100 billion, may give the Biden administration the best chance of securing funding for the war until after next November’s election,” The Telegraph reported Saturday.
A source familiar with discussions reportedly told The Telegraph that the staggering figure is supported by many in the Biden administration.
“The ‘big package’ idea is firmly supported by many throughout the administration,” said a source familiar with discussions. “Supporters of Ukraine want this to be a one-and-done big bill, and then not have to deal with it until after the next election.”
Biden administration is weighing this option despite mainstream media’s own polls showing the majority of Americans oppose continued funding for Ukraine.
This also comes as Pentagon officials warned last week the billions in funds earmarked for Ukraine are running low and resupplying its military has been slowed.
Specifically, only $1.6 billion is left of the $25.9 billion Congress provided to replenish U.S. military equipment that has been flowing to Ukraine, according to Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord.
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was ousted as House Speaker last week in part over reports he was working on a secret side deal with Biden to secure more funds for Ukraine.
House Republicans are now considering a new speaker, with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who was endorsed for the position by former President Donald Trump, claiming he’s opposed to new funding for Ukraine.
“The most pressing issue on Americans’ minds is not Ukraine. It is the border situation and it is crime on the streets,” he told CNN.

Another White House official reportedly said that the Biden administration is “not making any decisions about whether to do one big package or about how much it would be” until after the election to replace McCarthy, which is expected to begin Wednesday, but added a $100 billion deal is “one option” under consideration.
