Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) suggested that Congress pass laws to regulate conservative news because she claims it facilitates “incitement of violence.”

Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki on Sunday that conservative media outlets like Fox News should be “held accountable” for broadcasting topics with which she disagrees.

“When it comes to broadcast television, like FOX News, these are subject to federal law and regulation in terms of what’s allowed on air and what isn’t,” she said. “And when you look at what Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very, very clearly incitement of violence.”

“Very clearly. And that is the line that I think we have to be willing to contend with,” she added.

AOC cited Fox’s coverage of the Jan. 6 Capitol protest as justification for limiting what news it can air.

“We have very real issues with what is permissible on air, and we saw that with January 6th and we saw that in the lead up to January 6th, and how we navigate questions, not just a freedom of speech but also accountability for incitement of violence. This is the role we have to really explore through law as well,” she said.

Notably, AOC did not cite any specific examples of Fox News “inciting violence” amid its coverage of newsworthy events like the January 6 protest.

Conservatives torched her remarks on social media, calling her a fascist and communist for her blatant attempt to silence media opposition.

We joke around about how dumb she is, but the scary part is someone is feeding her these lines to say and they aren’t dumb.

They see her as the pretty face for their agenda but trust and believe they are going to get it enacted one way or another.

Of course, Democrat calls to silence their political opposition are nothing new, as was revealed in the Twitter Files, but they’re still a threat to the First Amendment and must be resisted at every level.
