As a result of important election integrity laws, Texas has removed over 1.1 million people from their voter rolls. This includes over 457,000 deceased individuals.

In addition, over 6,500 are non-citizens who never should have been on the voter rolls and over 6,000 who have felony convictions. This followed implementation of something called Senate Bill 1 (SB1).

SB1 included a slew of election integrity measures. Governor Greg Abbott also signed multiple other laws aimed at fair and free elections.

Abbott declared, “Election integrity is essential to our democracy. Illegal voting in Texas will never be tolerated.”

This is a key step toward securing our election system and should be implemented in every state of the union.
