Arabella Advisors, a massive Democrat-linked consulting firm, recently laid off 10% of its workforce due to the worsening economic climate, Politico reported Wednesday.
Arabella Advisors’ network includes the Sixteen Thirty Fund, which poured millions into the effort to block Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation and supports Democratic candidates, along with the Hopewell Fund, North Fund and New Venture Fund, which financially support a variety of left-wing causes. Arabella laid off more than 30 employees in numerous departments, citing the economic climate, recent growth at the firm and rising competition, according to Politico.
Average Americans’ wages have grown more slowly than inflation for 25 consecutive months, and inflation has increased by more than 15% under President Joe Biden.
The consulting firm is “adapting our operating model to meet the needs of our sector and our clients most efficiently and effectively,” and the layoffs “do not change our values or our commitment to helping changemakers create a better world,” an Arabella spokesman told Politico.
One employee told Politico Arabella had repeatedly told employees there would not be layoffs.
Arabella Advisors has been financially supporting research into online “misinformation,” predominantly targeting conservatives’ online presence and recommending censorship.
Arabella did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
