Former President Donald Trump said early Monday the FBI “ransacked” his Mar-A-Lago home in its Aug. 8 raid, with agents leaving their shoes on in his bedroom.

Trump indicated he went to Mar-A-Lago Sunday night. He had been absent since the raid, according to Florida Politics.

Trump posted on Truth Social that he “had a long and detailed chance to check out the scene.”

“I guess they don’t think there is a Fourth Amendment anymore, and to them, there isn’t,” he wrote. “In any event, after what they have done, the place will never be the same. It was ‘ransacked,’ and in far different condition than the way I left it.”

“Many Agents – And they didn’t even take off their shoes in my bedroom,” he added. “Nice!!!”

The FBI’s raid took medical documents from Mar-A-Lago. Trump accused bureau personnel Aug. 3 of rifling through former First Lady Melania Trump’s closet and carrying out a “deep and ugly” search of his son Barron Trump’s room.

A heavily redacted version of a Justice Department’s raid-related affidavit and a document containing reasons for such redactions were released Aug. 26. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon unsealed a list of raided materials Sept. 2 showing dozens were marked “TOP SECRET,” “SECRET” or “CONFIDENTIAL.”

Trump and his lawyers have argued confiscated documents featured privileged content and personal property, saying he had declassified them during his presidency.

Cannon appointed Senior Judge Raymond Dearie “special master” last week to review content confiscated in the raid, giving him until the end of November to file a report on the matter. The court will choose afterward if documents will be given back to Trump.

The FBI did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
