Masked gunmen executed a brazen robbery outside a Chicago home over the weekend in what police believe may have been just one of many violent crimes committed by the gang, according to reports.

The incident unfolded at around 6:15 a.m. on Saturday morning in the Hermosa neighborhood of the Windy City.

Male suspects wearing masks and brandishing firearms pulled up in front of residence where three men were standing outside.

Footage of the attack has been circulating on social media.

The thieves ordered the victims to “get on the ground” and surrender valuables.

One of the victims, who was in the street when the assailants arrived, was marched back to the front stoop at gunpoint.

“The first guy that was standing closer to the truck – he got the guns pulled out to him, and from there, that’s when they started pointing a gun at my dad, and the other guy who was up here on those stairs,” one victim’s son told CBS News Chicago.

Chicago police believe the gang may have been involved in a least 48 other robberies and carjackings in recent weeks.

“The robbers are described as a group of either three or four African American men ranging in age from 17 to 21. In each case they have worn black ski masks, dark clothing and blue gloves,” CBS 2 reports.
