An art professor named Shellyne Rodriguez at New York’s Hunter College who was recently filmed freaking out over a student group providing pro-life literature held a machete to a New York Post reporter’s neck on Tuesday.
Veteran NYP reporter Reuven Fenton identified himself to Rodriguez after knocking on her door to ask about the Hunter College incident.
In video footage, Rodriguez can be seen pressing the large blade against the reporter’s neck and shouting, “Get the fuck away from my door! Get the fuck away from my door!” before turning away and shutting the door.
After threatening the reporter, the New York professor allegedly followed and accosted the NYP crew outside while holding the weapon and screaming, “If I see you on this block one more fucking time, you’re gonna… Get the f–k off the block! Get the f–k out of here, yo!”
She also reportedly kicked the journalist in the shins before he got into his vehicle.
A spokesman for Hunter College told The Post the school was “outraged” by the machete footage and an investigation into the professor’s actions has been ordered.
In the original video putting Rodriguez in the public spotlight, she called a pro-life student booth “violent” and complained the group was “triggering” her students before flipping items on the desk, violently shoving objects on the table toward the students and walking away, saying, “Fuck this shit!”
It’s likely the unhinged art professor will soon be out of a job.
