FBI Raid On Trump Smacks Of Banana Republic Tactics
Posted On August 9, 2022
Not since the Elian Gonzalez moment have I felt this disgusted with the American system of government. I am spitting furious. Why? The Trump raid is true Banana Republic stuff. It should not happen in America. Are we Cuba, Venezuela, Burma? We are tonight and the FBI is the lapdog of those who got us here.
Those who read this column know I carried no brief for Donald Trump. But the FBI has become an armed wing of the Democrat Party. It has the integrity of the Gestapo. It employs the tactics of the KGB. Papa Doc may as well become director. In this instance Trump is exactly right. Democrats will do anything, anything, to stop him. The law and the Constitution be damned. Compared to Benito Biden and his FBI, Donald Trump is George Washington and Ronald Reagan rolled into one.
The Biden FBI targets regime opponents with political harassment and prosecution. It takes its order from jackals in positions of high authority. It is a sham of a force, a law enforcement farce, the initials stand for Fraud, Bullsh**, and Incompetence. But don’t take my word for it.
Trump: “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.” Spot on.
Kristi Noem: “An unprecedented political weaponization of the Justice Department…They’ve been after President Trump as a candidate, as President, and now as a former President. Using the criminal justice system in this manner is un-American.” Absolutely.
RNC: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Countless times we have examples of Democrats flouting the law and abusing power with no recourse,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement. “Democrats continually weaponize the bureaucracy against Republicans. This raid is outrageous. This abuse of power must stop and the only way to do that is to elect Republicans in November.” Watch it Ronna, lest the FBI come knocking.
Matt Schlapp of the ACU: “President Biden’s politicized FBI just raided President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago. This nation is becoming unrecognizable. Biden has successfully transformed America into a third-world country.” Yup, the FBI must be reformed or shut down.
Lara Trump: “Think about this. If this is what they’re able to do to the former president of the United States, think about what they could do to you, to anybody in America…But I think everybody clearly knows what is going on here. This is about weaponizing the justice system, as it has been so many times in the past against somebody who you politically do not like.” The SA had a better reputation.
DeSantis: “The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves…Banana Republic.”
Mark my words, this will backfire on Biden and the Democrats. Americans smell an authoritarian rat. After November, AG Garland better clear his calendar and a lot of feds better get their resumes ready. That is, if the RNC remembers how to fight vividly.
