DeSantis Goes Off: Biden’s ‘Weakness’ Caused Chaos; This Didn’t Happen During Trump’s Presidency

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Joe Biden and his administration over the Russia-Ukraine crisis, implying that he is presenting the same “weakness” as previous president Barack Obama when Russian forces took Crimea in 2014.

DeSantis said the weakness from the White House before Donald Trump’s election in 2016 and after he left office was not gone during Trump’s presidency.

‘Weak’ on Policy

“My feeling is they haven’t done enough —Europe or Biden’s administration — to really hit Putin where it counts, and that’s because they have been so weak on domestic energy,” DeSantis said. DeSantis was specifically criticizing Biden’s energy policies; he said they stripped the United States the energy independence we gained during the the Trump administration.

DeSantis is popular among conservatives and a frontrunner for president in the future.
