As the investigation continues, a search warrant has been issued for Alec Baldwin’s phone.
Shooting on the Set of “Rust”
A search warrant has been obtained for actor Alec Baldwin’s cellphone in connection with the investigation into the deadly shooting on the set of his film “Rust.”
Investigators want access to texts, phone records, internet history, emails, photos, and GPS on the device.
Baldwin was on the movie set in October when he accidentally shot and killed Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer. He has claimed innocence and blamed the gun for firing itself. Baldwin has a history of questionable behavior followed by denial.
But Where is the Phone, Alec?
“We are confident that the evidence will show that Mr. Baldwin is not responsible civilly or criminally for what occurred on October 21, and he continues to cooperate with authorities,” the actor’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, said.
The investigation continues into the origin of the live bullet in a prop gun on the movie set.
