The Russia Probe Was a Distraction
The idea that then-candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russia was planted in the head of Democrat lemmings before the 2016 election ever took place. On September 5, 2016, Hillary Clinton accused Russian Intelligence of interfering with the elections, stating they viewed a Trump victory as a ‘destabilizing event.’
The Russia probe had a very shady start.
The beginning of a major distraction had begun. The Democrats needed to control the narrative in the event that their hand-picked candidate did not secure the oval office. Thus began the two-plus year probe into collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. Even as the President continued to fight for America and work harder than most past Presidents, the headlines continued to focus on this potential ‘collusion.’
The Russia Probe Began With False Information
We now know that the Russia probe had a very shady start. For one, it appears that the FISA warrant against Trump advisor Carter Page was granted on salacious and unverified information. The main piece of ‘evidence’ used to gain the FISA warrant was the Christopher Steele dossier. There is confirmation that this dossier was not verified before, during or after the FISA process took place.
Verified or not, the dossier still played a part in obtaining the FISA warrant. It has also been revealed that the Christopher Steele dossier was a result of Clinton and DNC funded opposition research. Christopher Steele has admitted that he was desperate to defeat Donald Trump.
Russia Probe Possibly a Setup
The newly established Ukraine investigation sheds some much-needed light on the origins of the key ‘evidence’ that kickstarted the Russia probe. First of all, there are ties to Christopher Steele and Ukraine. Fusion GPS, the company that Clinton and the DNC funded, subcontracted Steele’s firm to compile the dossier. Fusion GPS has ties to Serhiy Leshchenko, a former investigative journalist who is now a Ukrainian lawmaker.
Leshchenko was a source for Fusion GPS, according to Nellie Ohr who is a former contractor for Fusion GPS. This is important because Leshchenko has already been convicted by a Kiev court for interfering with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Leshchenko and Artem Sytnyk illegally released documents in August of 2016 that showed payments by a Ukrainian political party to Paul Manafort. Manafort was Trump’s campaign manager at the time. These actions led to the resignment from the campaign and the ultimate investigation into Manafort.
Ukraine’s Investigation is Evidence of Real Foreign Collusion
Not only does two of the key factors in what led to a two-year special counsel probe tie directly to Ukraine, but there are also already guilty convictions of intentional interference in our elections. In addition, there is evidence that a tape recording exists. This tape recording contains top law enforcement officials admitting leaking documents in order to help the Clinton campaign.
As this investigation unfolds, there may be more evidence of wrongdoing. However, there is already more damning evidence of foreign collusion in favor of Clinton than there ever was for Trump. The important question here is: Why are the media and the American people not demanding to know more?
As demonstrated by the wall to wall Russian collusion coverage, foreign collusion is a serious concern. The integrity of our elections should be a concern no matter what side of the political aisle it may be happening on. There is more than enough evidence to demand a special counsel to investigate Ukraine collusion, and every single member of the Clinton campaign should be scared.
