Mueller Report: Trump and Campaign DID NOT Collude with Russia
Posted On March 24, 2019
After all the hours, all the investigators, all the interviews, and all the money spent, what President Trump had said for two years was proven true. The report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller dictates as much: NO COLLUSION.
In a summary of the report released by Attorney General William Barr today to members of Congress, he states that the Mueller report “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
The Attorney General additionally said the Mueller report did not show any wrongdoing by then-candidate Trump or now in his role as President. Barr confirmed there are no additional sealed indictments that have yet to be made public. Additionally, it would be up to Barr and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to issue any further indictments as they see fit.
The long and short of the letter to Congress: No one in the Trump campaign, including President Trump himself, colluded with Russia to change the outcome of the 2016 election or any time thereafter. Congress will review Mueller’s report in the coming days.
Undoubtedly, Democrats will continue to dig into President Trump’s life and finances. They have stated as much in the media over the last few days. The hope of uncovering the “missing link” between Trump and Russia will drive them on, probably forever. However, their self-proclaimed “savior of the republic” Mueller couldn’t find that link, even with millions of dollars and dozens of staff. Could it be because such a link doesn’t exist? Truth won’t stop them, however. Unfortunately, Trump Derangement Syndrome runs too strongly in some veins.
